The cycle menu lets you edit different traits of the cycle in general. The following sections explain each one of the drawers.

While modeling a product, you need to take many notes. You do quick sketches of processes, you make assumptions, you consult different sources.

The cycle notes drawer helps you keep track of this. Think of it as an always-ready text scratchpad, where you can document anything that you want about your cycle.

This information is also shared as documentation for your cycle, so before sharing it, it pays to make sure that your assumptions are clear here.

Here you can change the different settings you defined when creating your cycle: name, category and scope. It also lets you change how your cycle is shared

Bear in mind that selecting a different template/category here will not reload your information. In order to do that, you will need to create a new cycle. We want to make sure you never loose your precious data!

This section lets you edit the production and functional units you set when creating the cycle for the first time.

It is recommended to look at functional units periodically, to see if new information about the product has enabled the definition of better functional units.
