What does μ, n and m mean in front of the impact category unit?

We utilise standard metric unit prefixes for showing numeric values.

To make the numbers easier to read we utilise the metric unit prefixes.

Unit prefixes

M = mega, 10^6

k = kilo, 10^3

m = milli, 10^−3

μ = micro, 10^−6

n = nano, 10^−9

Weight based units

kg = 1000 g

T = ton = 1000 kg

Examples

547 g CO2 eq => 0,547 kg CO2 eq

10.33 k m3 => 10330 m3

34.31 m DALY => 0,3431 DALY
