Limited Ecoinvent access - Earthster exclusive data packages
In Earthster you are able to utilize in your models Ecoinvent datasets with a limited access and more affordable pricing compared to a full Ecoinvent license.
Our default subscriptions come with the "Ecoinvent Starter" data package, which includes 20 unique unit processes shared within an organization.
We offer various data packages to better match your LCA needs.
Full Ecoinvent access
To gain full access to the Ecoinvent database, you need a valid ecoinvent license. You can purchase from Earthster a new Ecoinvent license or renew an expired one.
If your existing license period is still valid, you can use your full license in Earthster without any additional costs.
Having a full Ecoinvent license grants the license holder:
Full access to the Ecoinvent database.
Advanced features, which are otherwise not available.
Full Ecoinvent licenses sold by Earthster
All Ecoinvent licenses are subject to Ecoinvent's End User License Agreement (EULA).
Commercial - Single-user, yearly licence
Price: 1500€ + VAT
Yearly licence for 1 individual, named user, maintenance is included.
Unlimited access to the entire Ecoinvent database including UPR, LCI, LCIA and reports supporting the system models Cut-Off, Consequential and APOS.
Subsequent yearly licences
Price: 1350€ + VAT
Subsequent yearly licences are available for the second purchased licence, which remain valid for the same organisation at the same site.
Educational - Multi-user, yearly licence
Price: 1500€ + VAT (when applicable)
Yearly licence for unlimited users under one professorship.
This multi-user license can be used by an unlimited number of students and staff under a single valid professorship for unsubsidized educational projects at a single university/school location.
